The 2019 Subaru Love Promise Customer Commitment Award

What is the Subaru Love Promise?

Subaru and our retailers believe in making the world a better place and the Subaru Love Promise is our vision of respecting all people. This is our commitment to show love and respect to our customers and to work to make a positive impact in the world.

The Subaru Love Promise Community Commitment

We believe in being a positive force in something bigger. And it all starts right here in our community. Not just by our donations, but by our actions.

That's why we stay true to our Love Promise Community Commitment by partnering with a wide variety of community nonprofits and charities.

Every year, we join hands with our owners in the "Share the Love" event, giving back to our community-a community that's given so much to us.

So, every day, we strive to ensure our love is felt not just by our customers, but by all in our community. We do this because we feel it is the right thing to do.

We are proud to participate in the Love Promise Community Commitment. We're grateful, not only to be a part of our community, but to serve and support the causes and passions that are closest to our hearts, right here in our neighborhood.

All of the organizations we support have one thing in common: the unwavering dedication to improve the world and the lives of its people.

Pine Belt Delivers Warmth and Hope to MMC  –  Stacy K

On Monday, June 17th, representatives from Pine Belt Subaru delivered warmth and hope to Monmouth Medical Center’s Southern Campus where patients are receiving local care for cancer. The delivery was met by enthusiastic hospital staff including Sarah Manning, Patient Care Director- Outpatient Infusion, and Victoria Rivas, Patient Navigator as well as Stacy Kreizman, Senior Patient Access Manager at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Hospital staff shared how grateful they are for local donations to their patients as it helps those facing a cancer diagnosis remember that people are thinking about them and caring enough to brighten their day just a little bit. The staff also expressed how much they love being able to hand a patient having a rough day a blanket and a craft kit they can use for therapeutic art as well.

Pine Belt and Caregiver Canines Celebrate  –  Danielle M

Pine Belt Subaru on Rt. 88 in Lakewood went to the dogs on Saturday, June 1st! The therapy dogs from Caregiver Canines Home Visiting Therapy Dog Program, part of Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey, were on hand to meet and greet the public during the “A Lot To Love” event. Caregiver Canines® was chosen by Pine Belt Subaru as their Hometown Charity for 2019 because of the great service and connection they provide to Seniors, Caregivers and Veterans. With each Subaru sold during the promotion Subaru will donate a portion back to Caregiver Canines®. The event was attended by Pine Belt customers as well as the general public. 25 Caregiver Canine therapy dog teams were out and about in the parking lot as well as the showroom greeting everyone and sharing their love. There were visits from the Lakewood Police Department and two K9 Teams from the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office. “Caregiver Canines® is honored to be partnering with a community minded company like Pine Belt. Our program brings such joy to home bound seniors in Ocean and Monmouth Counties. Being recognized by Pine Belt means so much to our organization and our volunteers”, says Danielle Maley, Caregiver Canines® Manager. “The dogs love all the attention, this is their job and they love to be around people.” If you would like more information about the Caregiver Canines® Program please call 732-505-2273, email or visit them on Facebook @Caregiver Canines.

MMC Southern Campus and Subaru Loves Safe Kids  –  Denice G

Monmouth Medical Center, Southern Campus (MMCSC), in partnership with Safe Kids Ocean/Monmouth, is working to prevent and reduce childhood injury through education and by providing safety equipment to families in need. Our team of nurses, health educators, and dedicated volunteers provide education to our communities. We are excited to include Pine Belt Subaru in Lakewood as one of our education sites! Our health educators will train the sales staff in providing child safety education when introducing customers to their new Subaru vehicles. In addition, MMCSC health coaches will attend a family fun day at Pine Belt Subaru, educating participants in child safety and working with the community to keep kids safe from injuries. Most people are surprised to learn preventable injuries are the #1 killer of kids in the United States!
