Subaru is acclaimed for making extremely capable, safe, and reliable vehicles at a reasonable price point. The 2026 Subaru Ascent is a perfect example. The 2026 Chevrolet Traverse is also a solid pick. Both are excellent, but in our opinion, the Subaru Ascent pulls out ahead.
